The Principles of TPEP
    Hong Ding Educational Technology actively advocates for the principles of “Technology Promoting Education Programs” (TPEP). From the aspects of Setting Approach and System Theory, schools and training settings are viewed as the places where learners spend a great amount of time on “teacher-student interaction”.

    These places are micro-scale classroom systems. The teaching processes and the behavior of teachers and students are observed in a structural and systematic manner. Technology Promoting School and Technology Promoting Training are defined as that a school or a training that constantly strengthens the interaction of educators and learners to develop a technology-enhanced setting which benefits education. Therefore, the following concepts can be carried out.

Administrators, teachers, teacher communities, students, parents and professional training providers collaborate to make schools and training settings into technology implementation environments.
Devote to developing a technology-enhanced environment. Promote technology integration and innovative approaches of teaching and learning. Abide by the educational development plans of schools and companies. Finally, create more opportunity and possibility for advocates to promote technology-promoting education.
Respect educators’ and learners’ habitual behavior in the education environment, and based on which, provide diverse technology applications and service in order to bring positive effects on education, improve teaching efficiency, and increase learning interest and motivation.
Promote educators’, learners’, administrators’, families’ and professional trainers’ knowledge in technology application. Collaborate with the leaders of schools and companies and assist them to understand TPET and how it enhances or promotes the interaction of teachers and students.

The TPEP Models
Hong Ding Educational Technology has proposed three TPEP models. The instructional design, integration project, and application service are all developed based on the models. To adapt to the New Era of future education, we help schools and companies to meet learner’s learning needs. We assist educators to change the outdated teaching skills and competence. With learning-oriented approach, we lead educators, learners, and any third party to form a collaborative learning community, and gain learning and growth by interacting with each other.

Technology-Promoting Education Program Interactive Model (TPEPi Model)
Based on TPEP, Hong Ding Educational Technology has developed the iTS Service Platform (interactive Teacher and Student Service Platform), on which the instructional process is a complete and dynamic system. Based on the techniques of educational Cloud, the iTS Service Platform supports the entire teaching and learning process in the classroom. Teachers, students and parents are all included in the technology-promoting education community. Using the TPEPi as the theoretical foundation, we transform the educational behavior, such as teaching, learning guidance, learning management, learning history tracking, extension education, technology-integrated learning, community interaction and the cloud sharing and reuse, so that schools and companies may catch up educators’ and learners’ paces and footsteps in the future.


Technology-Promoting Education Program Star Model (TPEPs Model)
Based on the TPEP model and under the principle of TPEPs (“s” stands for Star), Hong Ding Educational Technology introduces Hitachi Starboard Interactive Whiteboard to the education market. Educators or instructors who utilize the Starboard in their classes may become the noticeable super stars. For example, the teacher may use the recognition function on the Starboard to rapidly search and display the emphasis of the lesson, which is like a singer who faces the judges’ test to deliver a 30-second singing performance. With the Simultaneous Users function, up to three learners can collaborate on the board at the same time. The learners are able to individually write down their ideas on the whiteboard. The teacher can then guide the learners’ learning based on the feedback displayed on the whiteboard.


Technology-Promoting Education Program MiTA Model (TPEPm Model)
Based on the TPEP model and under the principle of TPEPm (“m” stands for multi-touch), Hong Ding Educational Technology introduces MiTA, the Multi-touch Teaching Aids, to the education market. In the hands-on and multi-touch practical learning process, learners may experience fun learning, intuitive expression, and collaborative learning.

The TPEPi Model, the TPEPs Model, and the TPEPm model are all developed based on the concept of interaction, which is regarded as the principle in the process of integrating technology into education. The TPEPi Model emphasizes on the interactive behavior and situation of educators, learners and the third related party. The TPEPs Model makes the participants in the educational setting able to gain the leading position in the learning process. The educators may reach the best efficiency and effects of teaching, and the learners’ needs may be ultimately satisfied. The TPEPm Model allows learners to have multi-touch practical experiences, so that they can collaboratively gain knowledge and wisdom or reach common consensus through concrete discussion.
